The Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Many of you have heard about the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, which fell upon the church in 1994.  My husband, Jeffery, and I heard about the amazing power of God there in 1995 and immediately said "Let's go see!"  You could feel the presence of the Lord for miles around.  When He showed up in our car on the way to the church we were in a state of awe.  We heard later that the Lord would often show up in unbeliever's cars and they would stop at the side of the highway, get out and lay prostrate on the ground weeping & repenting of their sins. People were screaming & dancing with banners, many were lying on the floor shaking from head to foot and yet the place was filled with the peace of the Lord. We were living about 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto but had such a hunger for God that we attended as many Conferences as possible.The Lord made it possible for us to stay at  Hotels near the church so that we did not have the long drive to and from the well of living water that we had found. As I recall we had very little money & am still amazed that we were always able to eat in the Hotel & Church restaurants & have money to put on the collection plate when it came around.  People  would throw the fire of God across the room o shouting "He's all over you!  He's all over you!"  Often I had to hold onto a pole in the church til I gained strength to walk and my husband had to carry me to the car & pour me in like a wet noodle. Our hunger for God & His word kept increasing as did the understanding for it. Prophecy refreshes the soul

Don't you find some people to be so draining?  Sometimes after I've been praying for people I just feel exhausted.  It just feels like everything has been drained out of me.  I have learned that I can break off those feelings in the name of Jesus and receive His refreshing love and peace.  He said "My peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you not as the world gives it."
